With just two games left in the regular season the Bucs record stood at 9-5 and they knew one more win would assure them a playoff spot for the third time in four years. Their opponent, the reining Super Bowl champions the St. Louis Rams who had inflicted a heartbreaking loss on the Bucs in the previous seasons NFC championship game. The Bucs were out for revenge but they knew it wouldn't be easy against the incredibly powerful passing attack of Warner, Holt and Bruce, as well as legendary running back Marshall Faulk, all four of whom will surely one day end up in the hall of fame. Can the Bucs assure a playoff spot in front of a national television audience on Monday night football?
